Hair and makeup tutorials are the bread and butter of Youtube. Who among us hasn’t turned to instructional videos to try to figure out how the hell everyone else accomplishes a complicated updo or an advanced makeup technique.
Comedian Akilah Hughes has come up with the makeup tutorial to trump all makeup tutorials. Check out her stream-of-consciousness commentary on the value (or lack thereof) of her makeup products, a I-guess-you-do-it-this-way approach to application, and small tricks of the trade for all us amateurs (like that two messed up eyes are better than one perfect and one messed up eye.)
